The classic MXR pedal has been around for decades. It is one great pedal. CMATMODS has taken the phaser pedal a step farther. They are giving you more flexibility, with the depth and phase, compared to the one knob MXR. I also like the tone better than its counterpart. The MXR pedal pushes the highs just a little too much for me. The analog phaser from CMATMODS gives you a smooth and warm tone in your signal path. Take a listen and you be the judge.
Here is one pedal that is sure to go down in history. I have never seen a pedal have so many features on it. One of the first features that I noticed was the tap tempo. Set your delay times by strumming your guitar. No more tapping your foot along with the beat to get your setting. There is also 9 different delay modes to choose from. One of the settings is called mod. You get a chorus added to the delay in this mode. There is also a 40 second stereo looper on this pedal. There are two hidden switches inside the pedal. The first one allows you to chose from true bypass or buffered. The second one is a kill dry switch to be used in an effects loop. This pedal is also part of the tone print line up from TC electronics. You can hook this pedal up to your computer and download some of your favorite guitarists' pre- sets. Here is a video of the pedal. Take a listen and check it out.
